A complete address reduces carrier and customs delays. Use the recipient's legal name, full street address, city, region, postal code, country, reachable telephone, and email. Add company, importer, tax, unit, building, or forwarder identifiers when required by the destination.
Required fields
| Field | Check |
|---|---|
| Recipient | Legal name matching local identification or company record |
| Street address | Building, street, unit/suite, district where used |
| City/region | Official spelling and administrative region |
| Postal code | Correct format for the destination |
| Country | Destination country, not nationality |
| Telephone | Includes country code and reaches the recipient |
| Monitored for carrier and customs messages | |
| Company/importer ID | Provided when local rules require it |
| Forwarder code | Included exactly as issued by the warehouse |
Avoid mixing billing, payment-account, and delivery addresses without explanation. If another person pays, a clinic imports, and a warehouse receives, identify all three roles before payment.
When using a forwarder, confirm that it accepts the product category, performs or supports customs clearance, preserves any required storage conditions, and can receive the chosen carrier. Ask how your customer code must appear and who is responsible for the final delivery.
Check transliteration rules. If the carrier requires Latin characters, keep a local-language copy for customs but provide an address format the carrier can process. Do not translate street names creatively or omit the region because it appears obvious locally.
FAQ
Can I use a hotel or temporary address? Only if the carrier accepts it and someone can receive and clear the parcel throughout the delivery window.
What if the postcode is missing? Confirm it before dispatch; an incorrect code can route the parcel to another depot.
Can the payer and recipient differ? Ask before payment and explain each role.
Can I use a forwarder for professional products? Only after the forwarder confirms it accepts the product class and destination requirements.
